About Us

Our passion is to help Canadians live colourful lives, and we’re committed to doing the same for our own people.

We focus on celebrating diversity and supporting personal and professional growth. At Hudson’s Bay, we foster a culture of respect, where associates feel empowered to collaborate, innovate and impact our success. Our teams are guided by the principles of One Company, One Team, One Culture - all aligned around the vision and working with the same values.

As North America’s oldest company, Hudson's Bay is the ultimate destination for Canadians to realize their best style of life. Our goal, as One Team, is to deliver a frictionless experience where stores anchor each customer’s journey with surprising discoveries, desired services, and localized assortment.

At Hudson’s Bay, we share a passion for innovation, building meaningful relationships, and living a colourful life. We empower our associates to unlock their full potential by providing opportunities to grow and learn every day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace change, and are looking to make an impact, we want you on our team.

We are a retailer that caters to all people and communities in Canada, and need a diverse team to ensure our continued success. We believe strongly in the power of diversity, and encourage applications from anyone who is eager to make a difference in our customers’ shopping experience. Together, we can rewrite the rules of retail.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) are woven throughout HBC and are fundamental to our strategy and vision as a leader in the retail industry. We actively nurture a work culture that values the diverse voices and experiences of all our associates, while actively engaging in opportunities to make a positive social impact. In Canada, this is particularly important as we reflect on our colonial history and take meaningful steps toward reconciliation. Our DE&I commitments include:

  • Our People: Work together to create a workplace where associates feel valued, have equal opportunities to contribute, achieve career ambitions, and live each day proudly and authentically.
  • Our Product: Ensure the products we sell are inclusive and do not promote racialized or discriminatory stereotypes.
  • Our Customers: Create a safe, respectful and inclusive environment to find modern, relevant and inclusive assortments.
  • Our Communities: Build lasting relationships with the communities we serve and call home by coming together to listen, support and celebrate.
