What This Position Is All About:

The Manager of Implementation & Web Analytics is responsible for the development and implementation of web analytics to meet evolving business needs across all of our digital channels. This role will also lead analytics and reporting for the digital business and supporting partners.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage accurate tracking of activity that occurs across all digital channels. To accomplish this, the Manager, Implementation and Web Analytics will work with various teams including technical developers and other cross-functional partners to understand new features and new reporting needs in order to draft the technical analytics requirement, liaising with Front End and Back End teams, QAing the resulting implementation and connecting it to Adobe Analytics variables. Once reporting is thoroughly vetted, the Implementation Analyst will deliver preliminary analysis on new site features to involved teams.

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics or database marketing.
  • Subject matter expert with total experience between 3-5 years using Adobe Analytics Suite
  • Experience with command-line statistical analysis software (e.g. SAS or R), and proficient in interpreting Javascript, jquery
  • Experience in implementation or writing business requirements for a web analytics too
  • Experience with QA tool Charles and Chrome DevTools
  • Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in client facing roles is a plus

 

As The Manager, Implementation and Web Analytics, You Will:

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to manage accurate tracking of activity that occurs across all digital channels. To accomplish this, the Manager, Implementation and Web Analytics will work with various teams including technical developers and other cross functional partners to understand new features and new reporting needs in order to draft the technical analytics requirement, liaising with Front End and Back End teams, QAing the resulting implementation and connecting it to Adobe Analytics variables. Once reporting is thoroughly vetted, the Implementation Analyst will deliver preliminary analysis on new site features to involved teams.
  • This person will also be responsible for issue remediation – this involves thoroughly researching and analyzing data issues, QA using tools such as Charles/Fiddler, Chrome DevTools, and Adobe Launch to pinpoint defects, and working with Engineering and our Vendors to prioritize and resolve them.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for the apps and websites, and run all business and technical aspects of Adobe Analytics including documentation, maintenance, and management of administrative functions re: Adobe
  • Support on-site A/B testing strategies as required
  • Use clickstream, user behavior, and conversion patterns to identify opportunities within the customer journey and aid pro-active issue resolution with digital partners
  • Monitor site/app performance through dashboards and reports and build action plans around digital KPIs, site performance and user experience
  • Add value to digital/Omni channel initiatives and projects by analyzing data that will produce analytical measures to tell the story of what's occurring in the business.
  • Ability to model and build scenarios to determine best approach for prioritizing projects
  • Deep dive into trends identified through analysis and provide recommendations on improvements followed by tracking results post change
  • Lead as-needed training to the wider organization for Adobe Analytics
  • Run all business and technical aspects of Adobe Analytics including documentation, maintenance, and management of administrative functions re: Adobe
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis will be required
