Day in the Life:

As a Data Engineer, the individual will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving major Data Engineering Projects (using Airflow, Python, Snowflake, etc.).

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement airflow dags using Python
  • Maintain Data Governance and relevant mapping documents
  • Working on Version control tools like GitHub
  • Work in Agile methodology and sprints
  • Troubleshoot PROD issues in current Data Warehousing
  • Work and collaborate with BI team for delivering projects

What You Will Need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience in Airflow
  • Experience in Snowflake
  • Fluency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
  • Experience with programming languages Python
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with Shell Scripting an asset
  • Experience with deployment and source code management (such as GitHub) an asset
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) an asset
