Day in the Life:

 

The Senior Product Manager, Essentials will play a critical role in building a new business at the Bay providing everyday goods to customers. We are looking for an experienced product manager with proven experience managing a product roadmap, defining product requirements, and partnering with technology and business to deliver features and functionality required to launch and scale the Essentials business. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization and help shape a new business from the ground up.  This leader thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, possess a strong digital-focused mindset, and brings an entrepreneurial work style. 

 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Define long-term vision of a product and build a clear, realistic roadmap of how to reach the desired result.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, merchandising and others relevant to define and prioritize customer and business needs balancing impact, scope, cost, and time.
  • Create product requirements by synthesizing needs from customer feedback, market analysis, business case, technology projections and pricing analysis
  • Deliver detailed technology requirements for features and functionality priorities and partner with technology to ensure successful development and releases.
  • Synthesize insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, sales feedback, and competitive analysis to make decisions on which improvements and new product ideas will deliver customer benefits and business growth.

 

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management
  • Experience driving product direction, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to create strategic product roadmaps.
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools.
  • Excellent communication, research, collaboration, mapping and anayltical skills.
  • A track record of creating successful user experiences that solve human problems and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Positive and resilient personality and can embrace feedback and have desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
