What to Expect:

The Visual & Operations Supervisor plays an integral part in the overall customer experience strategy and store success by supporting the operations and service operations within Hudson’s Bay. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will have ownership of the store’s visual presentation and drive efficient back-of-house operational processes & procedures. Leading with a One Team mindset, your consistent execution will support a positive customer experience and the achievement of sales & profit targets.

People Leadership – Passionately trains and develops associates on merchandise execution and style, leads a team to meet expectations, and collaborates with peers and leaders to address operational challenges and enhance performance.

Operational Excellence – Drives sales and profit results by executing merchandising strategies, managing workload from back of house to the selling floor, and collaborating on receipt flow, stockroom management, and vendor relationships. Executes strategies that enhance the performance culture to drive consistent results on key metrics such as Store Standard Cartons per Hour, Timely Price Changes, Return to Vendor Compliance, and Timely Seasonal Set-ups. 

Customer Champion –  Aims to elevate the customer experience by inspiring fashion and style through impactful merchandise displays and visual presentations. Engages with customers, seeks their feedback, and ensures that their needs, concerns, and issues are addressed, and inspires their team to do the same.

Sales Driven – Supports the Service & Sales Supervisor in driving store profitability through key Selling & Service performance indicators and ensuring compliance with safety and asset protection standards. Also supports new Selling & Service initiatives, communicates results, and fosters a performance-driven culture.

What You Will Bring to the Team: 
 

  • Proven retail management experience.

  • Experience with Return to Vendor, Transfers, Markdowns, Markups, and Productivity in regard to receiving Merchandise and placement.

  • If required, ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, including reaching, crouching, and climbing ladders.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

  • Comfortability working with various technologies pertaining to an omni-channel environment.
